Our website is to keep in touch with family and friends, while we travel overseas. we plan to share our adventures along the way. Our story starts in Australia (my home) on Anzac Day 1990. Two families merged.

I moved to New Zealand to join Kent, who was serving with the Royal New Zealand Navy. Becoming a Navy wife meant I was able to experience the Kiwi way of life at a more leisurely pace. Our annual holidays were spent visiting Australia and Hawaii.

Retirement loomed on the horizon and a trip to England (Kent's country) in 1996 set the plan in motion. This trip also involved a stay in Holland. The travel bug bit. Eighteen months later the adventure started. Air New Zealand and Crown Removals helped us on our way.

Since arriving in England we have been to Barbados and Florida. We have stayed in castles in Scotland, visited ancient abbeys, relearned history in Whitby, ghost walked through Nottingham, and been to London to see the Queen.
